This ride is offered as a four day round trip adventure from Fairbanks to Deadhorse and back.

Money: Bring credit card(s) or spending cash for meals, lodging and gasoline on the road. Bring enough cash for five or more days worth of meals, lodging and gas. Alaska’s prices average roughly $10-$20 per full meal statewide (without gratuity). Gas prices are about $3-$4 per gallon. Plan to bring as much cash as you would for any other tour or vacation.

Support: The support personnel accompanying the ride are backcountry first aid certified. They will carry cell phones at all times. The support vehicle will carry any spare parts you have brought for roadside repairs, and spare fuel.

Examples of what to bring for repairs on the road: Tires (punctures), brake pads (amazingly fast wear from abrasive road chemicals), chains and sprockets (road chemicals again), broken headlights and face shields. A headlight guard and windshield are highly recommended for protection from semi-truck produced rock missiles.
