Japan: Island of Hokkaido

Ride through Japan’s ancient lands on this eleven day tour! We’ll be traveling through Hokkaido; the northernmost and least developed of Japan’s four main islands. We’ll ride to the very northern points of Hokkaido where there are views of the disputed Japanese/Russian islands. We’ll be riding through national parks and witnessing the awe-inspiring beauty of steaming volcanoes and fall colors in all their majesty along magnificent perfect winding roads. Hokkaido is also the home of the city of Sapporo, where we’ll be stopping for a short tour of the famous Sapporo brewery. This tour features excellent staff and accommodations: authentic Japanese cuisine in traditional settings will be provided on all points! We may hit a Japanese motorcycle shop along the way, and then some other stores of interest, too.
